Below are some of the activities you can look forward to participating in.  There will also be a few fun surprises that we will fill you in on when you get to camp!

CONNECT



10:00 - 11:30

Arrival / Check In

Meet your fellow campers!  You'll get cabin assignments on arrival, we will then check into our rooms and then reassemble at the lodge.

Welcome Assembly

We'll run through some introductions and house rules and then get started!

Lunch

Healthy and delicious food served by our friends at Woodfield.

1:30 - 2:00

Photo Exercise #1

A little photo warm-up to get your creative juices flowing and a chance for you to meet your fellow campers.

2:00 - 3:00

Camp Games

Put your cameras down and join in to some super fun games, which will be a great ice-breaker and time to bond with others!

Guest Speaker

Cabin Groups

Goal-setting, mastermind sessions in smaller groups led by your camp counsellors.

5:00 - 6:00

Goats!

Signature Woodfield experience with therapeutic goats.

Dinner + Drinks

Communal meals are for connecting and getting to know your peers.  Also, cider.

8:00 - 9:00

Tick Tock Talk

Instead of a traditional workshop with speakers this camp is all about you!  Each person will have a few minutes to present on something that interests them, more details to follow.

Games Night

Pictionary? Check. Giant Jenga? Check. Cards Against Humanity? Check.  This evening's activity is all about having fun in a group setting.

Yoga Morning Session

 A morning yoga session with a special emphasis on stretching out those common photographer problem spots.

Pick Your Pod

We are going to breakout into smaller groups for a more intimate learning/Q+A session with the camp counsellors. Each pod will have a different focus and you will get the opportunity to switch pods after an hour.

Photo Challenge #1

We wanted to leave a little bit of mystery so we've decided not to tell you what the photo challenges are until you get to camp.  We will tell you that they will be super fun though and there might even be prizes!

4:00 - 5:00

Editing Time

We will be editing in our photo challenge groups, and counsellors will help with any editing questions.  Some of the images will be used in an end-of-camp-slideshow!

5:00 - 6:00

Free Time

This camp is all about connecting with others, go and meet people and explore!

Live Edit Lightroom Session

Learn some editing tips and tricks from the counsellors who will be live editing images and answering questions about post processing.

9:00 - LATE

Stargazing Session / Bonfire

Away from the light pollution of the city, we will be practicing some long exposure sky photography and if the weather isn't clear we will experiment with other kinds of night photography. Tripods and Flashlights recommended.

Silent Nature Walk

 Finish the week off with a mindfulness walk. A great opportunity to connect with nature and process all that has occurred.

Wrap up/Goodbyes

Trailblazer Sessions / Styled Shoot

You'll learn how to shoot in tricky conditions and different lighting situations and how to overcome creative ruts while shooting real couples! You will also get time to shoot each couple and receive feedback and tips from the counsellors.

Wrap Up Slideshow / Prizes

You get to see what everyone has been up to at camp and get inspired by your peers!  We will also be giving out some prizes!

Last Night PJ Party

We say goodbye in the morning but what better way to end camp than a party with dancing and drinking where the attire is bedroom casual?! Onesies and fuzzy bunny slippers approved!
